Loyal family (and welcome friends):

A slight change is in order for the website. I have added a login to access content. I really don't like to do it, but I will feel more comfortable this way. Everyone we know is very welcome to get a login and read the site. Logins can be saved on the computer so a login isn't necessary every time you visit the site.

Creating an account is easy:

1. Click on "Create Account" on the left under the "User Login" edit boxes.
2. Fill in the username, and your email for verification. When you click create, a message will appear at the top of the screen in light green that says "Your password and further instructions have been sent to your e-mail address."
3. Goto your email account and there should be a link to activate/login to the website. Check the spam filters as it may get caught there as well.

All done. If you have any trouble or question, please let me know by emailing either me or Renee. It may not be your issue!

On the plus side of requiring accounts, this will allow me to do some things soon that I really couldn't do before: I'm going to open the site so anyone can submit stories and photos, and potentially add in a family tree etc...

When you create your account, please make sure to use a name which identifies you in some way, otherwise I won't know any better and will probably close the account.
